We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Ecommerce Merchandiser to join our team at Virgin Experience Days on a fixed term contract, starting ASAP until February 2026. 

You’ll work closely with the Head of Ecommerce and the wider team to execute the day-to-day website activity, planned experience launches, key gifting occasions, and promotions. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone passionate about ecommerce and operational delivery.

• Execute merchandising plans for key landing pages, categories, campaigns, and experience launches in collaboration with Creative, Copy, Partnerships, and other business stakeholders.

• Drive sales and improve visitor conversion rates across all Virgin Experience Days Ecommerce sites and channels by efficiently coordinating and executing merchandising activities.

• Analyse and report on site performance metrics to identify optimisation opportunities and drive improvement.
  
  
  

• Support the Head of Ecommerce in executing merchandising strategies for gifting occasions and trading periods.

• Create and manage a trading/merchandising calendar, ensuring timely updates for key events and product launches.

• Coordinate on-site merchandising activities, optimising landing pages, categories, and customer journeys via our CMS to meet KPIs.

• Own the operational delivery of experience launches, seasonal gifting, and promotions, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

• Collaborate with the ecommerce and optimisation teams to implement experiments and campaigns aimed at improving conversion rates and other key metrics.

• Analyse product and category performance, providing post-event analysis and recommending improvements to merchandising strategies.

• Work closely with the SEO specialist to create and refine categories based on customer search behaviour and intent.

• Experience working in an Ecommerce or digital environment, ideally with a focus on merchandising.

• Proficiency in using CMS platforms to make customer-facing updates.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and apply insights to improve performance (ideally experience with Google Analytics).

• Highly organised with great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Passion for Ecommerce and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

• Experience using platforms like Algolia, Prismic etc.

• Exposure to A/B testing and optimisation practices (e.g., MVT).
